Two New Features to Supercharge Your Outstream Ads in 2026
Hey everyone,
We just shipped two features I'm genuinely excited about, and I wanted to give you a quick heads-up on what's new.
Endcards Are Here
First up: endcards. Think of them as a final screen that appears on your outstream videos—perfect for driving that last-mile engagement with custom CTAs, offers, or branding. But here's where it gets interesting: we didn't just build the standard "show when video ends" endcard. We also added a scroll-activated mode that I haven't seen anywhere else. Your endcard automatically flips into view when viewers scroll past your video, then flips back to video when they scroll back up. Video even resumes from where it left off. It's wild how much this increases visibility on content-heavy pages. You can still use the traditional "on complete" mode if that fits your campaign better—totally up to you. → Full Endcard Guide
Customizable Player Controls
Second: you can now control which UI elements appear on your outstream player. Want just a mute button? Progress bar only? Completely clean with no controls? Just add a URL parameter. We've had customers asking for this forever, especially for native-looking editorial placements. Now you've got four modes: Full, Sound, Minimal, and None. → Player Controls Guide
Go Try Them
Both features are live now in the Studio. The endcard editor works just like the overlay editor you already know, and player controls show up right in the embed modal. Check out the guides above for setup steps, best practices, and reporting metrics. And as always, hit me up if you run into anything weird.
